What you get

Deliverables, not decks.

Catalog & listing optimisation
A+ / brand store content
Amazon & Flipkart advertising
Review & rating programs
Quick-commerce readiness (Blinkit, Zepto)
Pricing & promo strategy

Amazon, Flipkart, Myntra, Nykaa and quick commerce are search engines with checkout buttons. Winning there is part SEO, part advertising, part operations discipline. We manage marketplaces end to end so your products get found, get clicked and get bought, at margins that still make sense.

What marketplace management covers

  • Listing optimization: titles, bullets, backend keywords and A+ content
  • Marketplace SEO: ranking inside Amazon and Flipkart search
  • Advertising: Sponsored Products, Brands and Display, managed to ACoS targets
  • Deal and event planning: BBD, Prime Day, category sales
  • Ratings and review strategy that stays inside platform rules
  • Account hygiene: buy box, pricing, stock alerts and policy issues

The bazaar playbook

Get found

Keyword-mapped listings and content built for marketplace algorithms, which reward different signals than Google does.

Get chosen

Images, A+ pages and reviews that answer objections before they form. On marketplaces, your listing is your landing page and your salesperson.

Get profitable

Ad spend managed against contribution margin, not vanity sales. Scaling unprofitable orders is just an expensive hobby.

Just fill in the stall, and let us scream dus ka char. That line is from our first deck, and it is still the job description.

Which marketplaces should we be on?

Where your buyers already shop for your category. Fashion leans Myntra and Ajio, beauty leans Nykaa, everything leans Amazon and Flipkart. Quick commerce is now essential for FMCG. The audit tells us where your margins survive.

What ACoS should we target?

Depends on margins, price point and whether the goal is ranking velocity or profit. We set targets per product stage, not one blanket number.

Can you fix a suspended or messy account?

Usually, yes. Account hygiene and policy recovery are part of the service, and prevention is why ongoing management beats firefighting.

Do you handle quick commerce like Blinkit and Zepto?

Yes. Listing, availability and ad management for quick commerce is one of the fastest-growing parts of our marketplace practice.

What does marketplace management actually include?

Listing and catalogue optimisation, imagery built for the search grid, retail media management, quick commerce assortment, and account health monitoring. The balance shifts by category: a multi-SKU food brand needs assortment and stock discipline, a single-product brand needs listing conversion and ad efficiency.

How much does marketplace management cost in India?

Usually a monthly retainer, sometimes with a performance component, scaling with SKU count and ad spend rather than a flat package. Worth asking any agency whether their fee rises with your ad budget, because that changes whose interest the spend serves.

How long before marketplace work shows results?

Listing and imagery changes can move conversion within weeks, because you are improving an asset that already receives traffic. Organic ranking follows over two to three months as better conversion compounds. Retail media produces sales immediately but builds nothing on its own.

You are selling in someone else’s shop

A marketplace listing is not your website. You do not own the traffic, you do not set the rules, and the platform is also a competitor, because it sells its own private label in your category and controls the ranking that decides who gets seen.

That changes what management means. You are not optimising a storefront you control. You are competing inside a system whose algorithm rewards specific, measurable behaviours, and most brands lose because they never learn which ones.

Three things decide mar etplace performance, roughly in this order.

  • Conversion rate on the listing. Imagery, title structure and A+ content decide this before price does. A listing that converts better ranks higher, which brings more traffic, which compounds. It is the only genuine flywheel on these platforms.
  • Availability. Going out of stock does not pause your ranking, it resets it. Recovery takes weeks. More marketplace revenue is lost to stockouts than to any competitor.
  • Retail media spend. Sponsored placement now carries a large share of category visibility. Organic-only strategies have been quietly squeezed out of the top of most search grids.

What we actually manage

Listing and catalogue quality

Titles built for how people actually search rather than keyword stuffing, bullet points that answer the questions buyers ask before purchase, A+ content that reduces returns by setting accurate expectations, and backend attributes filled properly so you appear in filtered searches at all.

Imagery that works in a grid

Your main image competes at thumbnail size against eight others. This is a different job from packaging photography or a website hero, and it is where most Indian brands lose the click before anyone reads a word. We produce for the grid specifically.

Retail media

Sponsored Products, Brands and Display, managed against contribution margin rather than ROAS alone. ROAS flatters marketplace advertising because it ignores platform fees, returns and the cannibalisation of organic sales you would have made anyway.

Quick commerce

Blinkit, Zepto and Instamart are a genuinely different channel, not a variant of Amazon. Smaller images, no consideration phase, assortment and pack-size decisions that do not carry over, and separate ad ecosystems. Running them on an Amazon playbook is a common and expensive mistake.

Account health and operations

Suppressed listings, buy box loss, policy flags and stock planning. Unglamorous, and the most common cause of revenue disappearing overnight.

Where marketplace management usually goes wrong

  • Treating it as a side channel. Demand arrives on Amazon and quick commerce whether you invest or not. Ignoring it just means the listing representing your brand was written by nobody.
  • Optimising ROAS instead of margin. A campaign at 6x ROAS can still lose money once platform fees, returns and organic cannibalisation are counted.
  • One pack shot everywhere. A shelf photo, an Amazon main image and a quick-commerce tile are three different jobs.
  • Discount-led ranking. Buying volume with price teaches customers to wait for the next sale and resets what they will pay.
  • No stock discipline. Going out of stock at the wrong moment costs more ranking than most brands recover in a quarter.

How we measure it

Contribution margin per order after platform fees, returns and shipping. Session-to-order conversion on each listing. Organic share of category search versus paid. Stockout days. Return rate by SKU.

Not ROAS in isolation, and not GMV. Both can rise while the business gets worse, which is why they are the two numbers most agencies choose to report.
