Making A Perfect Landing Page

Webmasters should develop a perfect location page for visitors. This will ensure that visitors find your website both offline and online. Thus, you should craft the website’s location well. Though the location page resembles Google My Business Profile (GMB), GMB is meant to help visitors online and not on the land. The location page aims to direct visitors to your brick-and-mortar establishment.

The location allows for adding marketing copy and can be optimized for the SERPs. Thus, it serves two functions: being discoverable online and assisting visitors in reaching your place of business.

Perfect Landing Page

A perfect landing page should comprise:

  • Contact Information
  • Google Maps & Direction
  • Product Features
  • Services
  • Marketing Copy
  • Parking  Information
  • Photos
  • Hours of Operations
  • Reviews

On-Page  Optimization Elements

When designing and developing a location page you must keep the target audience in mind. Add all elements that enhance on-page optimization. The title description and meta are most important and they should be well crafted.

The location page should have your brick-and-mortar establishment’s complete address, email, and phone numbers. Google Maps should offer complete directions and it should be preferred over a static map. Google Maps is well crafted and thus it should get a preference.  Search Engines like Google depend on trust and hence make sure the information is consistent everywhere.  Give parking information and GPS guided tour. Be explicit in details of how to reach.

Give details of the parking site. Do you have on-premises parking or is it street parking? Is the parking site paid or free? Explicitly explain the best time for parking.

Add high-resolution photos of your products or services they can be the same as what you have added in Google Business Profile. You can also embed a 360 virtual tour.

Add hours of operations this is most essential on a location page. You can increase engagement with the visitors by adding a marketing copy. The marketing copy should be terse and meaningful.  Also, add reviews since the location page is an ideal place for them. Include full details in the reviews and do not forget to add the name and address of those who have posted the review.
