Types of Google Paid Advertisement Models

What is PPC?

PPC is an advertisement model popularized by Google Ads, Amazon, and Microsoft, and it stands for Pay Per Click. In this model, the advertiser pays when someone clicks on the Ad. The charge is based on bids on the keyword phrase that is related to the advertiser’s target audience. This model is based on keywords and bids.  These Intent-based ads appear when someone looks for the product on SERPs when searching. Thus, the network is known as Google Search Network, and it differs from Google Display Network.  Your Ad will only appear for keywords you have optimized for. Through this model, you can advertise intent-based goals like increasing sales, advertising an e-commerce site, or any other.

Shopping Ads

Shopping Ads are a combination of text and images. For this, the products are displayed in Google Merchant Center.  The center aids in the product range and you can use it in several services. When you add your products to Google Merchant Center the products appear on search when visitors are looking for them.

This way you can reach more customers as Google displays them for free. Your products can appear on Google Search, Maps, shopping tags, Google Images, and Youtube for free. When someone clicks on the product, the visitor is sent to your web page. In the case of a physical shop, the visitors receive directions to the shop. You can also link e-commerce sites to the Merchant Center.  When your products are uploaded you can create a shopping Ad in Google Ads.

CPM or Pay Per Impression

In the CPM method, you pay per 1000 impressions.  The ads appear on Google Display Network an assemblage of over two million websites, videos, and apps.   This network reaches over 90% of Internet users Worldwide. This campaign is specifically for creating awareness. In vCPM or CPM you are charged only when your ads have been seen 1000 times. You pay every 1000 times and Ad appears on a webpage. In vCPM, you pay for every 1k impression when the Ads are viewed. An ad is counted as “viewable” when 50% Ad is shown for 1 second or longer for text-based display ads or plays at least for 2 seconds as a Video Ad.  You pay more for the vCPM model.
