Writing website content is most challenging, especially link acquisition or writing for a specific purpose. The first step is to define an array of content that will saturate the pages. Right from the whiteboard stage intent establishes the purpose, or motive behind the web pages. All pages should be keyword-driven the internal pages that comprise the topic should be written using relevant content.
Another exciting aspect is relevancy, all content should be pointing towards one topic. Search engines understand and well-defined parse content. Thus, all the internal web pages should be aligned towards one topic creating a well-defined link architecture. The website usually comprises internal pages that align towards the home page but are based on sub-topics without losing relevancy. The intent should be pointing toward a well-defined purpose for all pages. In the case if the site is built for two different topics separate subdirectories should be created. These sub-directories will comprise files or respected topics forming a silo-like structure. Thus you can create a site containing coffee and tea but the files are kept in different sub-directories.
Creating Content
Content creators should dwell deep into researching the topic to understand in-depth what to write. All web page content should be deeply researched but should be written in one’s style and the outcome should be unique. Benchmarking a website does not mean one should copy the write-ups, all web page content should be unique. The outcome should have clear intent so that the visitor can understand what the page is offering. Is the page about information or brand promotion? Does the website intend to sell something? Your website should be pointing towards the target audience and his or her search intent.
The write-ups should be well formatted with an H1 tag and lower tags in the subtitles. To make a fast downloading site there should be smaller paragraphs and lighter images with height and weight defined in the coding.
