How to Blog?

If you are using your own website a blog can be created on it.  All you have to do is log into your site click on the blogging section and start adding posts. A blog is different from a website and it facilitates posting on regular basis. You can let the post be published on regular basis or feature a blog post as you wish.

Most of the free blogging sites like Blogger by Google have a simple interface but facilitate the creation of many attributes to make it appealing. All you have to do is to create a Google Account and scroll down to the blogger section. Or if you already have a Google Account you can just type in blogger and start from there. If you have a Gmail account you need not create a Google Account as it means you have a Google Account, and you can use the same credentials to log in. Google has one simple set of credentials (Email address & Password) using them you can log in to all Google properties.

When you sign in you as a first-time blogger using your Gmail account you will be asked to create a blog and then you have to name the blog. Use a suitable name that fits your niche and is keyword driven. Remember to save the URL of the blog so that you can sign in directly.

When you sign in you will get a panel on the left-hand side to choose a simple theme such that you will get a sign-in and design option on the right side. Once you are signed in you will get an option for settings and layout. Finish your settings optimize them using keywords and set the layout. Once you are done click on create a new post and you are ready for blogging.

Writing Blogs

Always write proper content that is unique and describe your content well in the niche. Remember blogs are topic relevant. Do not repeat, format the content well and write in an active voice or write anecdotal accounts. Do not copy other people’s content to stay away from search engine penalties. Always check grammar even if your grammar is good using a tool like Grammarly that is freely available.  Many tools help in checking the grammar of your write-up.

Add photos or videos as an option given on top of the new blog post being created. There is a WYSIWYG option to format content using that. On the right-hand panel, there is an option to add keywords, location, and search description you should fill in the details before posting the post. There is an option of saving the draft in you lose the write and keep saving the draft version before you are finally able to publish the content.

There is an option to create a link for SEO Campaign but be sparse. Too many links and your blog will become a spam blog.  By writing a good post over 250 words consistently you can get a good response on the SERPs.

If your blog is being used for Internet Marketing purposes or SEO see all entries are relevant.  Write good accounts or posts on one topic be it marketing, travel, culture, or your profession. For example, if you are a heart surgeon write on heart-related issues and highlight your practice and profession. A well-written blog optimized to the hilt is ideal for brand publicity or highlighting your authority on the nice.

Remember consistency pays and if you are consistent with posting you will get rich dividends. Regular postings mean you have fresh content and search engines will reward you with better traffic for that.
